The absolute most critical step is to DO NOT START THE ENGINE or turn your ignition key! Turning the ignition turns on the electric fuel pump which circulates wrong fuel into high-pressure pumps and injectors. Leave the vehicle parked safely, notify petrol station staff if on a forecourt, and call Fuel Flush immediately at 07933 620 900.

Not if dealt with promptly! If you haven't started the engine, 100% of the contaminated fuel is contained safely inside the main fuel tank and can be completely removed without any engine damage. If the engine was turned on or driven, a line flush and diagnostic test will purge the system.
